Notes: This bootleg was the very first offering of the Assjack material, and was most likely recorded on a DAT deck III took on tour at the time. The show(s) that the tracks were culled from are unknown. It is possibly the rarest of all Hank III bootlegs, and was available only on cassette. The earliest known date of availability is May 7, 2000 (opening up for Rev. Horton Heat) at the Trocadero Theatre, Philadelphia, Pa. Actual pressing numbers are not known. The cassette itself was professionally replicated and printed. |

Each copy was hand-numbered and signed by Hank III and a corresponding number was also placed on the outside of the jewel case in the same manner. The inserts were simple xerox copies of artwork from various sources. The actual CD-R disc brand varies. |

Notes: This recording again features Assjack songs collected by III while on tour. Track 3 is now known as "Go Fuck You." Track 8 changed both musically and lyrically over time and became "What You Live For," as featured on Bootleg 3. The artwork was created by Keith Neltner, who also created several Assjack posters and the Bootleg 3 "Donkey Art." |

Notes: This recording was made while III toured Europe in 2000; specifically, this disc contains portions of the set played on June 20, 2000 at Renfrew Ferry in Glasgow, Scotland. It is a common misconception that this disc is an official Curb Records release, though it is, in fact, a bootleg. This disc was sold at live shows as early as December of 2001 (and the Hank III website shortly thereafter) for 15 dollars. |

Notes: Bootleg 3 Demo was released as a way of satisfying the fans awaiting the newest Assjack material. The disc contained a rough mix of 8 tracks from the expected 11 total tracks to be included on the official release. The material was recorded over the period of September 1st to the 4th by III and Joe Fazzio, with JoeBuck on backup vocals. It was first available for purchase at the 9/9/2002 show in Tuscaloosa, AL for 10 dollars. Each disc is hand numbered and signed by Hank III, contains a folded insert detailing the story behind the disc and outlining the tracklisting. The disc was still in production and available for purchase on the official Hank III website up until the release of the full release in 2005. Some variations of the disc are known to exist: Some inserts are black & white, while most are full color. Perhaps the most unique variation of this disc is a sole copy with a tray insert in a full-size jewel case featuring an image of Lonny, the banjo-picking boy from the movie Deliverance. |
